AVCMS 1.0.8 with Videos & Video Site Script

Videos are now officially included in the full version of AVCMS. I've fixed many of the reported bugs but there could still be some things to iron out, but it's in perfectly good shape to start using!

Other fixes and updates for all the scripts are also included.

• Videos added to AVCMS Full Editon
• Updated CkEditor
• Added a link to quickly get to the folder wallpapers were just bulk uploaded to
• Better updating of the Private Messages inbox when deleting messages
• Fix clearing route & permission limits from modules
• Fix encoding on AV Arcade & Wallpaper Site Script importers
• Fix friends list last active date
• Fix user “Likes” modules sometimes displaying fewer content items than expected
• Show a loading icon while the URL Slug is being generated

The video features are also available in a new stand-alone script called Video Site Script. For a short time, Video Site Script is being sold for just $25!

I receive this message when viewing videos I uploaded on mobile chrome: "the media could not be loaded either because the server or network failed or because format is not supported".

It's a h.264 mp4 video, should it be a different video format to work in mobile chrome? The video plays fine on all the desktop browsers, just not mobile browsers.

Filtering Video categories in the Admin Panel is not working, it just shows a loading icon that never goes away: screenshot

I do not seem to have any trouble, Maybe I have not discovered anything yet but it all seems to work great

Not all browsers support the video tag, apple devices do not support flash at all, so you have to kinda pick-n-choose what market your going for. I add support for videos myself before this update, however the other bug fixes may prove useful in the areas I use them.

Just to let you know, if you upload a supported MP4 video, flash will be used for older browsers and HTML5 will be used for newer browsers automatically.

When I add the URL of a Youtube video... Should new information was added automatically?

Yes it should detect that it's a YouTube video and fill in details such as the title and description.

The new import button works for wallpapers but it actually redirects to wallpapers when importing images.

Is that one can benefit from the monetization of videos we embed on the vidéo site script,ex:Youtube,Daylimotion?
if I embeded my own video, a player is available in the script ? thanks for the answers.

Hi Pascal,

I don't think there's any way to share in the advertising profit from YouTube or Dailymotion. But you can set up an advert to show before the video can be played if you like, just like with AV Arcade.

If can upload a video files that are in a web-supported format like MP4. VSS comes with a video player to display these.
