Is there a setting to read a direct link from a different site without downloading to the main site? Not embedding but direct link.

Do you mean that when a user clicks the link for a video from the categories page (for example), they'd just be redirected to the original site?

There's no setting like that at the moment but it's not a bad suggestion.

The idea is to have a wrapper around the video so you believe you are still on the main site. But the video is held somewhere else.

The problem we have out here is, there are decent gaming scripts (like AV) and then decent Video sites. The Vid sites don't handle gaming and the gaming scripts don't handle vids. I deal in HTML5 in both AV and another Vid Site. I don't see where it would be that much of a leap to bring in MP4 files format into AV.

Take a look at http://militaryvids.com or http://droopyvids.com. Believe it or not, under the hood, the two scripts (AV) and other are not that much different.

Hi,

I'm not sure if you are aware but I just launched Video Site Script for videos and added the video functionality to AVCMS, meaning AVCMS (http://www.avscripts.net/avcms) does games & videos now. It's primarily designed to embed videos from other providers but does also support MP4 videos if they're already in the right format.

Hmm, do you have an upgrade pricing for AV6.X? I have the gaming version.

I use almost all vids with the two versions of MP4. 512k and H264. Can it also handle MP3s?

I just reviewed the video version. It's simple, easy to use and if it follows the game version, the SEO should be a big hit.

Now, how about a version that allows both Videos and Games? In the backroom, I didn't see any way to add the HTML5 games to the video site. Maybe I just missed it.

So you were probably looking at the demo for Video Site Script. The script that does everything is AVCMS, demo here: http://avcms.net/

The upgrade price is $20 from AV Arcade 6. It's not currently available via the store but if you send $20 to paypal@avscripts.net I'll add the upgrade to your account.
