Thanks to everyone who's purchased Wallpaper Site Script over the last year and a bit!

This version contains the following improvements:

Bulk upload files
Create new folders
Customisable import parameters
Question & Answer captcha
Filter by resolution in categories
New alternative template "darkbrush" based on "paintbrush"

Improved meta tags
Preview images on wallpaper preview page are not in 4:3 aspect ratio if the original image was in 4:3 aspect ratio
Downloading the "original file" now shows it in the same preview frame as other resolutions
Additional resolutions (resolutions now contained in resolutions.php)
User "interests" added to profile & admin panel form
Images have correct file extension rather than always .jpg
Non existent profiles properly show 404 error
SEO filename extension on all URL's
Characters properly escaped when adding a wallpaper
Admin panel only allows for image files to be uploaded for extra security
Apostrophe's can be used in filenames when importing
Can add google analytics ID into settings to easily track site stats

You can download the latest version from the customer area at http://www.avscripts.net/store/customers

Upgrading from the beta?
Just upload the admin & includes folders to make sure you're synched up with the final version

Hi!
Will this script has features:
1: title alias ( is necessary for seo, because now if you change filename script change a link )
2: schedule posting wallpapers
3: download limit for unregistered users
4: download wallpapers with watermark for unregistered users only

Other feature
Generate url as /wallpaper/1.html or similar instead of /category/1.html If I change wallpaper category I have error404 in Google

The way it's done is you select either dynamic resolutions (the list) or instead just offer the original file. The original file isn't really needed when you have the list of dynamic resolutions.

Those are some good features ideas, I'll consider them for the future!

I'm a little confused by your last question, could you clarify what you mean?

Yes, I will try to clarify it.
Sorry, there are no error404, but there is other problem.
If I have wallpaper "wallpaper1" in category "category1" I have link /category1/wallpaper1.html, but if I move "wallpaper1" from "category1" to "category2" I have link /category2/wallpaper1.html and I have /category1/wallpaper1.html too. This is duplicated content with same meta description (as in Joomla), that is not well for Google. If I typing http://www.demo.wallpapersitescript.com/fixthisbug/original-style-hd-wallpapers-108 instead of http://www.demo.wallpapersitescript.com/abstract/original-style-hd-wallpapers-108 it works too.
I think it would be nice if script will generate URLs like http://www.demo.wallpapersitescript.com/wallpaper/original-style-hd-wallpapers-108 ("wallpaper" instead of "category") or http://sitename/wallpaper1.html and in this case if I change <<category name>> or <<category of wallpaper>> I have the same URL.
Sorry my english
I hope you will understand me
My best regards

To change the category name to just "wallpaper" open includes/core.php and find on line 196:

$seo_cat_name = seoname($cat_name['name']);

And replace with

$seo_cat_name = 'wallpaper';

Check if that works and then if it does open .htaccess and find on line 49:

RewriteRule ^([^/\.]+)/([^/\.]+) index.php?task=view&name=$2 [L]

And replace with:

RewriteRule ^wallpaper/([^/\.]+) index.php?task=view&name=$1 [L]

And that way the old url's wont work.

It Works Great for me, thanks!
But how I can redirect /oldcategory/wallpaper1.html to /wallpaper/wallpaper1.html
If I redirect it with redirect 301:
RedirectPermanent /oldcategory/ http://site.com/wallpaper/ or Redirect 301/oldcategory/ http://site.com/wallpaper/ I have URL /wallpaper/wallpaper1.html?task=category&name=oldcategory
Or can I remove duplicates witout changing names of categories to wallpaper?

Sorry, other question
It Works Great if you replace "wallpaper" with other word, ( /otherword/wallpaper1.html ), but if you replace it with name of existing category ( /existingcategory/wallpaper1.html) it open the same page /existingcategory.html
Without redirect if I have 1000 wallpapers in category I will have in Google 1000 pages /existingcategory.html with URLs /existingcategory/wallpapername.html and 1000 pages
/wallpaper/wallpapername.html
Sorry for trouble:(

Hello Andy

I had a high load on my server last time.
I would like to know if this new version 1.2, is demanding a lot of cpu like the other one.

Thank you.:)

In all honesty I'm not 100% on how to do a redirect, I've looked into getting 301 dynamic redirects working before but it hasn't worked out yet. I'm sure it's something small I'm missing but I need to look into it more to find out the right code.

It likely has the same demands. There's nothing I can really do to make the image resizing any less intensive I'm afraid.

You can assign whatever tags you like to wallpapers that are bulk imported. Just list the tags you want to apply to the imported wallpapers in the import form.

Im not having any problems, although initially i did have the sql error on install i fixed it easily in phpmyadmin for my admin account, no registration issues for members, but yes the avatars arent working, hopefully this will be sorted out, i have made a post in support as well regarding the avatars, watch there in case someone comes up with a solution maybe?
